How does it work?
Once your domain is successfully registered or moved, your visitors
will be directed automatically to a Welcome Page. The Welcome Page
is a single web page intended as a "coming soon" notice
for your visitors. Your Welcome Page creates an immediate web presence
that incorporates your domain name. To see an example, check out
our sample Welcome Page.
The Welcome Page is not the same as hosting a fully functioning
website. If you would like to view our Web Hosting options, please
click here.
Current Website Owners
If you already operate a website, you can redirect visitors there
by activating either Website Redirection or IP Pointing. See our
Web Features tutorial for more information on Website Redirection
and IP Pointing features.
How long does the Welcome Page last?
Your Welcome Page remains visible until you are ready to use Website
Redirection or IP Pointing to point your domain at a website.
Can I edit the text on the Welcome Page?
Yes! There is a section on your Welcome Page where you can include
a limited amount of plain text and/or HTML code. For an introduction
to creating HTML code see the HTML tutorial.
Where did my Welcome Page go?
If you enable Website Redirection or IP Pointing the Welcome Page
will be automatically disabled.
